This small community with 3,600 licensed businesses operating within the city limits has incredible tax revenue with the contributing effect being low property taxes.  It is well known for its excellent public services as well as its fine recreational facilities.  Murray is for those that value open space, excellent parks and recreation departments and good schools.  Murray boasts six public parks, one ice rink, two swimming pools, two public libraries, two public golf courses, six tennis courts and six baseball diamonds.

Murray's general boundaries are the Jordan River to the west, I-215 to the south, Van Winkle to the east and just north of 4500 S.
