In just over twenty years of incorporation, West Valley City's population has increased from 72,000 to 122,000 residents and in land area from 17,363 arces to 22,880 acres. The City has added 12 parks, two golf courses, the E Center, the Hale Centre Theatre at Harman Hall and the Family Fitness Center.

In spite of the City's rapid growth and development, City leaders have not lost sight of providing high-quality public safety services to its residents.
